About Ken Camp

Ken Camp is an alumnus of the University of Southern California, who has spent the past decade working with various elected officials, including Los Angeles Unified School District Vice-President Valerie Fields, Los Angeles City Councilmember Jack Weiss, Washington State Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, and Washington State Lt. Governor Brad Owen.

In 2004, Ken was a member of the Kerry-Edwards Seattle advance team, putting together events on behalf of the campaign. In 2006, he served as Operations Director for the Senate Democratic Campaign Committee in Washington, helping to establish the largest Democratic majority in the state Senate in 41 years. Most recently, Ken served as Washington State Coordinator for Bill Richardson for President and assisted the new media team with nationwide blog outreach.

As a member of the USC Trojan Marching Band while in college, Ken has performed with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and Berlin Radio Symphony (under the baton of Vladimir Ashkenazy),  jazz greats Louis Bellson and Arturo Sandoval, and as part of the opening act for the inaugural 3 Tenors Concert (Domingo, Carreras & Pavarotti) at Dodger Stadium.

Ken also spent 3 years as the Head Manager of the USC Women’s Basketball team (1993-94 Pac 10 Champions and NCAA Tournament Elite 8), under head coaches Cheryl Miller and Fred Williams.
