Ken Camp is an alumnus of the University of Southern California, where he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science. A 4 year member of the Trojan Marching Band, Ken performed at Pac 10 football games, the Hollywood Bowl (with the Berlin Radio Symphony and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra), Paramount Studios, for President Nixon,baseball Hall of Famers and many other dignitaries, with jazz artists Louie Bellson and Arturo Sandoval, as well as the legendary Fleetwood Mac.
Ken has previously worked as a Field Representative for former Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education Vice President Valerie Fields, representing 120 schools in West Los Angeles and the western San Fernando Valley.
Ken also served as a Field Deputy for former Los Angeles City Councilmember Jack Weiss, working in three San Fernando Valley communities in the district. He introduced and implemented the councilmember’s “Adopt A School” program which received acclaim in the Los Angeles Times.
In addition, Ken served as Legislative Assistant to Washington State Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles for six years, and has currently worked for Lt. Governor Brad Owen for 2 1/2 years.
Ken’s previous campaign experience includes local school board campaigns, state legislative and gubernatorial races, advance work for the Kerry-Edwards 2004 presidential campaign, and Washington state coordinator for Bill Richardson for President 2008.

Ken currently lives in Tumwater, Washington with his wife Maureen, and three kids, Connor, Keira and Collin. In his free time, Ken enjoys visiting state capitols, photography, and hiking and camping in the Pacific Northwest.
